The ongoing manhunt for US intelligence leaker Edward Snowden has inspired lots of political chatter, but German company Blush Lingerie is making headlines by offering him asylum in a provocative new ad campaign. "We have a bed and champagne," the company wrote on Facebook, urging Snowden to come to Berlin and accompanied with a photo of the boutique, while another ad tells him that there's "still a lot to uncover" and features a scantily-clad young woman.
"We highly sympathise with what Snowden did," said the director of Glow Advertising agency, Johannes Krempl, while backstage after Blush's runway show Wednesday evening at Berlin Fashion Week in the Cointreau Fizz Secret Garden. "We owe him so much, and that's why we thought we have to do something to express our feelings towards him and thank him, and that's why we came up with this ad for Blush in support of his deeds."
