Lee Rigby's family hit out after sick thieves steal from butchered soldier's grave

RELATIVES of the soldier who was hacked to death in broad daylight two months ago branded the thieves 'scum' for causing them further heartbreak.

THE grieving family of murdered Lee Rigby last night revealed robbers have stolen items from his grave.

Relatives branded the thieves “scum” for putting them through further heartbreak as they struggle to come to terms with the 25-year-old Army drummer’s horrific death.

A statement on Facebook said: “Lee’s grave has had things taken from it. It’s unreal what’s happened – how someone can do this.”

Lee was hacked to death on May 22 in ­Woolwich. Michael Adebolajo, 28, and Michael Adebowale, 22, are accused of his murder.
