British inter-faith charity Faith Matters claims there has been a large increase in anti-Muslim incidents since the murder of solider Lee Rigby in Woolwich. Several people have been charged after allegedly offensive and threatening comments against Muslims were made on social media websites.

Riot police move in as missiles thrown at Whitehall protest
Bottles and beer cans are now being thrown by rival EDL and anti-fascist protesters facing off in Whitehall, ITV News reporter Ben Chapman says.
Police in riot gear are now moving into the area between the two groups.
